An exhibition at the Bristol Drawing School to celebrate the importance and diversity of drawing. A group show with a selection of award winning artists who use drawing not only as a process but as an end in itself.
This first major show for the school was a wide range of work from expansive landscapes to the intimate and personal, using a variety of different approaches to making marks on paper.
Placed together the works contained a presence of a journey, a history or a memory, whether it be the physical timescale of making the drawing or within the content of the drawing itself.
Artists included were Jason Hicklin, Kate Raggett, Fiona Robinson, Valerie Bowes, Robert Clarke, Ian Chamberlain and Carol Peace.
