9:30am - 12:30pm

Tutor: Esmé Clutterbuck

Cost: £160

This is structured course is for anyone who is interested in drawing and its relationship to other areas of creativity. The course will present drawing as an activity which is both challenging and fun and should suit people with widely varying ability and experience.

Each week will focus on an aspect of observational drawing which we will explore by working across a range of materials, processes and subjects.
Two of the sessions will focus on the figure.

During this course we will look at drawing ideas through the work of Contemporary and Historical Artists. This will give us material for discussion, help to contextualise the activity of drawing and give us inspirational examples towards which we can strive. Each session will end with a brief group discussion reflecting on our drawings.
