Life Drawing

 

Monday Evenings

6:30pm - 8:30pm

A loosely structured class where students will be able progress at there own pace with the help of a tutor.

 

The aim of this course is to allow people to learn and practice a range of drawing principles to aid in creating drawings which have appeal and a sense of life.

 

Lessons will be loosely structured and new techniques consisting of: line of action, body construction, negative space/silhouette, line quality, straight vs curved lines, tone, exaggeration, hands/feet and weight will be covered each week.

 

Students are free to put these ideas into practice as they draw. By the end of this course students will have built a solid foundation for future drawing and be able to use these skills to move forward in their work.

 

 

Details:

10 weeks starting from Sept 15th with half term on Oct 27th
