Experimental Drawing

This is a structured course for anyone who is interested in drawing and its relationship to other areas of creativity. The course will present drawing as an activity which is both challenging and fun and should suit people with widely varying ability and experience.

During the course we will look at drawing ideas through the work of Contemporary and Historical Artists. This will help to contextualise the activity of drawing, give us material for discussion and some inspirational examples towards which we can strive. There will be an opportunity in each session for a brief group reflection on our drawings.

We will work from a range of sources including locations outside the Drawing School.  Students will also have opportunities to develop ideas and drawings over more than one session, if they wish to.
