Celebrating the importance and diversity of drawing

Bristol Drawing School is a not for profit private arts venue and education facility that aims to encourage and nurture the art of drawing, not only as an art form in its own right, but as an essential part of the creative process.

We offer drawing courses and workshops throughout the year as well as curating a regular series of exhibitions and artist talks.

We will keep this site updated with all events so please check back often, alternatively email us and we will put you on the mailing list.

Spring Term Programme 2010

We still have a few places left on some of our workshops, why not learn about the East Asian art of sumi, or etching with artist Jason Hicklin, or even join us at the circus for a fun weekend of drawing and performance!

Don't forget also that we have Cliff Wright (of Harry Potter fame) conducting a series of workshops for all ages over the coming half term, they are called Nature of Drawing and can be found here.

STOP PRESS!!

Our wednesday evening drop in classes have become hugely popular so each night we have to turn people away.
To alleviate this we are thinking of running a similar drop in class on thursday nights.

If you are interested in this please call or click here and we will start it from the 28th Jan for the rest of the term. £12 drop in price £100 to book for the whole term, tutor to be confirmed.
